Life OS

A private place for my projects, daily plans, ideas, and garden records. I’m building it around the things I actually do.

Try a little of the day

Choose a task, finish a sample session, then find it in the project history.

Life OSSample workspace

A little progress today.

A short list, with the project beside each task.

A bit of focused timeOne task at a time

A simplified walkthrough with sample tasks and example sessions. It doesn’t read or change my private workspace.

Somewhere to keep the threads together

Choose the next small thing

Projects can turn into very long lists. Today gives me a smaller set to work from, with a timer and the project context close by.

Remember what changed

A board holds the tasks. Work sessions and project views help me see what happened and where to pick things up again.

Keep the garden in the picture

A photo, a planting date, or a harvest weight is worth keeping too. The garden has its own record, alongside the software and hardware projects.

A little about how it’s built

Life OS is a Next.js app with an installable mobile view. Cognito handles sign-in; Amplify connects the browser to project data and photo storage. An offline queue keeps supported changes until the connection comes back.

Next ideaA private home and a public window

I’d like to write a project update in Life OS, choose a photo, and decide whether to share it here. The private workspace would hold the full record; this website would show the selected stories.

That publishing connection is still an idea to explore. For now, these pages are maintained separately.
