Analytical Robotics

Developed working prototypes of teams of autonomous robots. Worked on full software stack for autonomous system, including localization, perception, planning + control. Gained valuable experience solving hardware & software problems, sourcing parts, dealing with prospects, getting customer feedback

UCD + Huawei Optical Engineering

Optoelectronic switching & beam shaping research project. Worked extensively with Python & Zemax OpticStudio modelling optical systems & developing beam shaping algorithms and physical components. Learned how to design and verify optical path simulations using cutting edge hardware & rigorous experimentation.

UCD + Huawei Optical Engineering

Beam steering research project for Huawei Technologies. Worked in a team as lead programmer with MATLAB, Python, & experimental hardware developing and testing algorithms.

I received an honours degree in electronic engineering from UCD in 2017. Classes Included several programming modules using C, C++, Matlab and Java. Several robotics modules, along with circuit design and modelling and simulation modules introduced me to using and creating hardware in conjunction with software.
